Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Systems Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai, focusing on the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of agricultural systems and technologies, and will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining system operations, and ensuring the optimal performance of our software and hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Support: Provide first-line support to users regarding agricultural software applications, hardware, and systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain agricultural systems and applications, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively. Perform regular updates, backups, and system checks to prevent downtime.

- User Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on the use of various agricultural systems and applications. Create user manuals and training documentation to facilitate smoother onboarding and usage.

- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, agricultural experts, and other stakeholders to identify system requirements and enhancements. Collaborate on projects to improve efficiency and productivity in agricultural operations.

- Data Management: Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data generated by agricultural systems. Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in data management.

- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, analyze, and rectify issues related to agricultural software and hardware. Utilize problem-solving skills to provide timely and effective solutions.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure that all changes and updates are accurately recorded.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in agriculture and recommend improvements to existing systems. Evaluate new tools and technologies that can enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Agriculture Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in systems support, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural software applications and hardware systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with data management and analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in agriculture is a plus.
