Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Translator to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah, specializing in the Information Technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translation services and a deep understanding of technical terminology related to IT. The Translator will be responsible for translating various documents, user manuals, software interfaces, and other materials from [Source Language] to [Target Language] and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate a variety of IT-related documents, including software documentation, technical specifications, user manuals, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with IT professionals to understand project requirements and ensure translations are technically accurate.
- Maintain consistency in terminology across all translated materials.
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry terminology and trends.
- Review and proofread translations to ensure high quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Engage in discussions with subject matter experts to clarify and refine translations.
- Use translation memory and terminology management tools to optimize the translation process.
- Provide feedback on existing translations and suggest improvements where necessary.
- Assist in localization of software products, including user interfaces and help files.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of translation processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience, preferably in the Information Technology sector.

- Strong understanding of IT concepts, software development processes, and technical documentation.
