We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Underwriter Assistant to join our team in Sharjah within the Aerospace and Defense industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance underwriting and be able to provide support to the underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters in evaluating and assessing risks associated with Aerospace and Defense insurance policies
- Review and analyze policy applications and supporting documentation
- Conduct research and gather information to support underwriting decisions
- Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for clients
- Communicate with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date underwriting files and documentation
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure policies are issued in a timely manner
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating existing policies for potential risks and issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field
- [Number] years of experience in insurance underwriting, preferably in Aerospace and Defense
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and underwriting software
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry best practices
