We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Art Gallery Manager to oversee the operations of our pharmaceutical art gallery in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for art, a strong background in gallery management, and a keen understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Curate and manage the gallery's collection of pharmaceutical-themed artwork, ensuring that all pieces are displayed in a visually appealing and engaging manner
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote the gallery and attract visitors, including organizing special events, exhibitions, and collaborations with other organizations
- Manage day-to-day operations of the gallery, including overseeing staff, handling sales transactions, and maintaining inventory records
- Cultivate relationships with artists, collectors, and other industry professionals to expand the gallery's network and enhance its reputation within the art community
- Stay informed about current trends in the art world and the pharmaceutical industry, and use this knowledge to inform the gallery's programming and acquisitions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Arts Management, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in gallery management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of art handling and conservation best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and gallery management software
