Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audiologist to join our team in Dubai specializing in the Aerospace and Defense sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the auditory health and performance of personnel working in high-stress and challenging environments. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hearing Assessments:
- Conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations for personnel, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Interpret audiological test results and provide detailed reports to management and medical teams.

2. Hearing Conservation Programs:
- Develop and implement hearing conservation programs tailored to the unique needs of the Aerospace and Defense workforce.
- Educate employees on the importance of hearing protection and the impact of noise exposure in operational environments.

3. Fit and Dispense Hearing Aids:
- Assess and fit hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, ensuring optimal performance in various operational conditions.
- Provide training and support to personnel on the use and maintenance of hearing devices.

4. Monitoring and Follow-Up:
- Regularly monitor the auditory health of personnel, conducting follow-up assessments and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, treatments, and progress.

5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, safety officers, and management to create a safe auditory environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases and contribute to overall employee well-being.

6. Research and Development:
- Stay current with advancements in audiology and apply evidence-based practices to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving hearing health in the Aerospace and Defense sector.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or certification to practice audiology in the UAE.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in clinical audiology, preferably in a high-stakes environment such as Aerospace and Defense.
- Strong knowledge of auditory health, hearing conservation strategies, and hearing aid technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with military or aviation personnel is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to occupational health and safety.
- Proficiency in using audiological equipment and software.
