Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector. As an Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees’ auditory health and enhancing their overall well-being, which contributes to a more productive workplace. This unique position combines patient care with a focus on corporate wellness, making it essential for fostering a supportive and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations, including hearing tests and assessments, to diagnose hearing loss and related conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, including recommendations for hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
- Provide counseling and education to employees regarding hearing health, prevention of hearing loss, and the proper use of hearing aids and assistive devices.
- Collaborate with human resources and wellness teams to design and implement hearing health initiatives and programs that promote auditory health within the organization.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology practices and technologies, and integrate them into the workplace as appropriate.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to raise awareness about hearing conservation and the importance of regular hearing check-ups.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to all relevant privacy regulations.
- Participate in research activities related to auditory health and contribute to the development of best practices in the workplace.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Audiology or a related field.
- Valid licensure or certification to practice as an Audiologist in the UAE.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, with a preference for experience in corporate wellness programs.
- Strong understanding of hearing assessments, audiometric testing, and hearing aid fitting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a commitment to promoting a healthy workplace.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
