Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banker specializing in the energy sector to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the energy market, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. This role will involve providing financial services and solutions to clients in the energy industry, including renewable energy projects, oil and gas, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the energy sector, including corporations, government entities, and institutional investors. Understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.

- Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses of energy projects, including feasibility studies, risk assessments, and financial modeling. Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Transaction Support: Assist in structuring, negotiating, and closing financing deals, including loans, equity investments, and syndications specific to energy projects. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all transactions meet regulatory standards.

- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the energy sector. Provide insights and strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams based on market analysis.

- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with energy projects and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Work closely with risk management teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including investment banking, corporate finance, and advisory services, to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients.

- Business Development: Participate in business development initiatives to attract new clients and enhance the bank's reputation in the energy sector. Attend industry conferences, networking events, and seminars to promote the bank’s services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

- A minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience in banking or finance, with specific experience in the energy sector preferred.

- Strong understanding of financial products and services relevant to the energy industry.

- Proficient in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk analysis.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial analysis tools.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
