Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of medical devices and technologies that support pharmaceutical applications. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, and regulatory bodies to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop innovative biomedical devices and systems tailored to pharmaceutical applications, including drug delivery systems, diagnostic tools, and therapeutic equipment.
- Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify new technologies and methods that can enhance product performance and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations, to ensure seamless integration of biomedical technologies into pharmaceutical products.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of biomedical devices to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with international standards and regulations, including ISO and FDA guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to design processes, testing protocols, and regulatory submissions.
- Analyze data from experiments and trials to provide insights and recommendations for product improvements or new developments.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and ensure all products meet the necessary compliance requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals and end-users on the operation and application of biomedical devices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in biomedical engineering and pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in biomedical engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of biomedical device design, testing, and regulatory processes.
- Familiarity with software tools used for modeling, simulation, and design of biomedical devices (e.g., CAD software, MATLAB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in technical writing and documentation, including research reports, user manuals, and regulatory submissions.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with biocompatibility testing and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Familiarity with clinical trials and research methodologies in the pharmaceutical context.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software.
