Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our Energy Department in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing departmental resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that align with our company's objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with a passion for the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Energy Department to meet organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy in operations.

- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of energy professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Project Oversight: Manage and oversee energy projects from conception through execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, suppliers, and industry partners.

- Financial Management: Prepare and manage the departmental budget, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all departmental activities comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards related to energy production and sustainability.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management on departmental performance, project status, and market trends in the energy sector.

- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the department.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy sector, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

- Proven track record in project management and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong knowledge of energy markets, renewable energy technologies, and sustainability practices.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
