Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Diversity and Inclusion Manager to lead our efforts in fostering an inclusive workplace culture within our pharmaceutical organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diversity and inclusion initiatives, with a demonstrated ability to engage employees at all levels to promote a diverse workforce. This role is critical in ensuring that our company values the unique backgrounds and perspectives of our employees while enhancing our reputation as an employer of choice in the UAE’s dynamic pharmaceutical landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy aligned with the organization’s values and business objectives.
- Conduct assessments to identify current diversity levels and areas for improvement within the workforce.

2. Policy Formulation:
- Develop and revise policies and practices to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure that recruitment, retention, and promotion practices foster a diverse talent pool.

3. Training and Education:
- Create and deliver training programs aimed at developing cultural competency, awareness, and acceptance of diverse perspectives among employees.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and events that promote D&I initiatives and celebrate cultural diversity.

4. Employee Engagement:
- Establish Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to provide support for underrepresented groups within the organization.
- Facilitate open forums and discussions to encourage dialogue around diversity and inclusion topics.

5. Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze D&I metrics to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and programs.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on the progress of D&I initiatives and suggest improvements based on data analysis.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with senior leaders to promote D&I initiatives and create accountability at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with external organizations and community partners to enhance the company’s D&I outreach and impact.

7. Compliance and Best Practices:
- Stay informed about local and international D&I best practices and legislation, ensuring the organization remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Research and implement industry best practices for fostering an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years and up to 7 years of experience in Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources, or related fields, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing D&I initiatives and programs.
- Strong understanding of cultural dynamics in the Middle East and the ability to navigate diverse work environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting related to diversity metrics.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
