Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Exercise Specialist to join our team in the education sector in Dubai. This role is designed for individuals passionate about promoting health and fitness, particularly in an educational environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of exercise science and a strong commitment to fostering a positive, active lifestyle among students, staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development:
- Design, implement, and evaluate exercise programs tailored to the needs of students of varying ages and fitness levels.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to integrate physical fitness into the school curriculum.

2. Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct fitness assessments and screenings to determine students' physical abilities and needs.
- Monitor and track progress of participants in exercise programs, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.

3. Instruction and Coaching:
- Lead individual and group fitness sessions, ensuring safety and proper technique at all times.
- Educate students on the principles of exercise, nutrition, and overall wellness.

4. Community Engagement:
- Organize and promote fitness events, workshops, and seminars to encourage participation from students, parents, and the community.
- Foster relationships with local fitness organizations and health professionals to enhance program offerings.

5. Research and Development:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and research in exercise science and physical education.
- Recommend new equipment, programs, and resources to enhance the physical education curriculum.

6. Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of participant progress, incidents, and program effectiveness.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for school leadership regarding program outcomes and student engagement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 8 years of experience in exercise programming, fitness instruction, or a related field, preferably in an educational setting.
- Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, ACE) is preferred.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using fitness assessment tools and technology.
