Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Import Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the import operations of goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and optimizing the supply chain processes. This position requires a strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs documentation, and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the import process, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Prepare and review import documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to facilitate the smooth movement of goods across borders.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of import operations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, inventory management, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination of import activities.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Provide training and support to team members on import processes and regulations as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in import operations, customs brokerage, or logistics management, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements in the UAE and internationally.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with logistics management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
