Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Kitchen Staff to join our culinary team in a pharmaceutical setting in Dubai. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food preparation and safety, with an understanding of the unique requirements of working in a pharmaceutical environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring that meals are prepared and served in accordance with strict health and safety guidelines, while also adhering to the nutritional needs of our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This includes following specific recipes and guidelines as required for a pharmaceutical environment.

- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Adhere to all hygiene and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe cooking environment.

- Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including the ordering and stocking of supplies. Monitor expiration dates and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.

- Meal Service: Support the serving of meals, ensuring that food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature. Engage with staff and visitors to ensure their dietary needs and preferences are met.

- Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for menu planning and improvements.

- Compliance: Follow all guidelines and protocols related to food safety, hygiene, and pharmaceutical standards. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in food preparation and safety.

Qualifications:

- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant culinary certification or training is a plus.

- Skills:
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional requirements.

Additional Information:

- Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of Arabic cuisine is an advantage but not essential.
- Must possess a valid work permit or residency status in Dubai.
