Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our legal department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, assisting in the preparation of legal documents, and facilitating effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation, drafting, and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance documents relevant to the financial services industry.
- Conduct legal research and gather information on various legal matters, regulations, and financial laws applicable in the UAE and beyond.
- Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
- Liaise with internal departments and external parties, including regulatory bodies, to facilitate communication and ensure compliance with legal obligations.
- Assist in the management of ongoing litigation and dispute resolution processes, including maintaining calendars for court dates and deadlines.
- Support the legal team in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
- Prepare summaries and reports on legal issues and developments affecting the financial services sector.
- Ensure that all legal documentation adheres to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of compliance programs and training materials for staff regarding legal obligations and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the legal team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
