Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy Advisor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Policy Advisor will be responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance on policy issues related to Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT policy development and implementation, as well as a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and analysis on current and emerging IT policy issues
- Develop policy recommendations and strategies to address key challenges in the IT sector
- Collaborate with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and other relevant parties to advocate for policy changes
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of existing policies and regulations on the IT industry
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in IT policy development
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations on policy issues for internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events related to IT policy

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Public Policy, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in IT policy development or related roles
- Strong knowledge of IT regulations and policies in the UAE
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
