Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our agriculture-related programs in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agricultural operations, project management, and strategic planning, with a commitment to sustainability and innovation in the agricultural sector. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a passion for advancing agricultural practices in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Management:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of agricultural programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor program performance and outcomes, implementing improvements as necessary.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, agricultural producers, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization at industry meetings, conferences, and public forums to promote agricultural programs and initiatives.

3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in project execution, conflict resolution, and performance management.

4. Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for program development and expansion.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the agricultural sector.

5. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international agricultural regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management and stakeholders on program progress, challenges, and successes.

6. Innovation and Sustainability:
- Promote the adoption of innovative agricultural practices and technologies to enhance productivity and sustainability.
- Lead initiatives to improve resource management, reduce waste, and increase the environmental sustainability of programs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or operations within the agricultural sector.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, technologies, and sustainability issues.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of local agricultural policies and practices in the UAE.
- Experience in capacity building and training of agricultural personnel.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
