Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee sanitation processes within our agricultural operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all sanitation standards are met and maintained, guaranteeing a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and produce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sanitation practices, preferably within the agriculture sector, and demonstrate exemplary leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sanitation Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation protocols and procedures in compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards.
- Monitor and oversee the sanitation of all agricultural areas, including storage facilities, processing areas, and equipment.

2. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and train sanitation staff, ensuring all team members understand and follow sanitation protocols.
- Schedule sanitation tasks and allocate resources efficiently to optimize productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to sanitation staff to promote professional growth.

3. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices regarding sanitation and hygiene.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, inspections, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare reports for management on sanitation compliance, challenges, and improvements.

4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with agricultural management and other departments to identify and address sanitation-related issues.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.

5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in sanitation processes and recommend innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest sanitation technologies and practices in the agricultural sector.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in a sanitation supervisory role, preferably within the agriculture or food production industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of sanitation regulations, procedures, and best practices.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using sanitation and inspection tools and technologies.

Additional Requirements:

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of chemical safety and handling procedures is a plus.
