Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to join our team at a construction site in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the construction site, personnel, and equipment. The Security Guard will monitor site activities, prevent unauthorized access, and respond to incidents, ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the construction site, monitoring for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access. Utilize surveillance equipment as necessary to ensure comprehensive coverage.

- Access Control: Manage entry and exit points, checking identification and credentials of personnel, contractors, and visitors. Maintain a visitor log and ensure compliance with site security protocols.

- Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, or other emergencies. Conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports on incidents, including theft, vandalism, or accidents.

- Safety Protocols: Collaborate with site management to enforce safety regulations and protocols. Report unsafe conditions and practices to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with site management and other security personnel. Report any unusual activity or safety concerns immediately.

- Customer Service: Provide assistance and directions to visitors and personnel while maintaining a professional demeanor. Build a positive rapport with staff and contractors to foster a cooperative environment.

- Emergency Procedures: Be familiar with emergency response procedures and assist in evacuation drills. Ensure that emergency exits are accessible and properly marked.

- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any safety-related observations. Ensure all documentation is completed and submitted as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security role, preferably in a construction environment.
- Valid UAE security guard license is preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures in a construction setting.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying materials or equipment as necessary.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of a construction environment.
