Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Maintenance Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our retail facilities, ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning optimally to provide a safe and pleasant shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Management: Lead the maintenance team, providing direction, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. Mentor and develop team members for career progression.

- Preventive and Reactive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all store facilities, equipment, and systems. Oversee and manage reactive maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Analyze expenditures and identify areas for cost savings.

- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers and contractors. Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance operations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

- Project Management: Oversee maintenance-related projects, including renovations and upgrades to retail spaces. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory management. Prepare regular reports for senior management on maintenance performance, budget adherence, and project status.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices. Implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in team management and development.
- Excellent knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
- Experience in budget management and cost control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
