We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Policy Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the Consumer Goods industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in policy development and implementation, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives to support the growth and sustainability of the consumer goods sector in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policy strategies to support the growth and development of the consumer goods industry in Abu Dhabi.
- Conduct research and analysis on key policy issues impacting the sector, and provide recommendations for policy reform.
- Work closely with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and other partners to advocate for policy changes that benefit the consumer goods industry.
- Monitor and assess the impact of policy changes on the sector, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our policy positions and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in policy advocacy to ensure our policies remain relevant and effective.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- [X] years of experience in policy development and advocacy, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of government processes and regulations related to the consumer goods sector.
- Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful policy initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
