Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Auditor to join our team in the dynamic pharmaceutical sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of financial records, operational processes, and compliance with regulatory standards specific to the pharmaceutical industry. The Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and operational efficiency within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, operational processes, and internal controls in compliance with applicable laws and regulations within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations, and present them to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess compliance with industry standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and schedules, ensuring timely execution of audit engagements.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, staying updated on changes in legislation and best practices.
- Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that corrective actions have been implemented in response to previous audit findings.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance and internal control processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation and records for review and reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of auditing experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
- Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, auditing standards, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
- Proficient in using audit software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient in both English and Arabic is a plus.
