Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our healthcare organization in Dubai. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role is crucial in promoting a culture of compliance and ethics within the organization while safeguarding patient safety and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international healthcare regulations, including but not limited to the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), and other relevant bodies.

- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Regularly review and update policies as necessary.

- Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop action plans to mitigate risks. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance risks are adequately addressed.

- Training and Education: Design and deliver compliance training programs for staff at all levels to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.

- Monitoring and Auditing: Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to assess adherence to policies and regulations. Prepare reports on compliance status and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

- Incident Investigation: Investigate compliance-related incidents and complaints, documenting findings and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.

- Regulatory Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies as required. Maintain records of compliance activities and documentation.

- Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure compliance issues are addressed and integrated into day-to-day operations.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and best practices. Recommend improvements to enhance compliance processes and systems.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or a relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)) is an advantage.

- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare sector.

- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including patient privacy laws, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
