Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector based in Dubai. This role is essential to fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations programs, addressing employee concerns, and promoting a culture of open communication and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with organizational goals and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address employee relations issues and trends.

2. Policy and Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Review and update employee relations policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.

3. Conflict Resolution:
- Manage and resolve employee grievances, complaints, and disputes in a fair and timely manner.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee issues and recommend appropriate actions.

4. Employee Engagement:
- Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Organize and facilitate employee feedback mechanisms, such as surveys and focus groups, to gather insights and drive improvements.

5. Training and Development:
- Develop training programs for managers and employees on effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee rights.
- Provide coaching and support to management on handling employee relations issues.

6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze employee relations metrics, preparing reports for senior management to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

7. Collaboration with HR Functions:
- Partner with other HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Compensation & Benefits, to create a cohesive employee experience.
- Support organizational change initiatives and ensure effective communication throughout the process.

8. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees to discuss concerns or seek guidance on employee relations matters.
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders, such as labor unions and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in employee relations, HR management, or a related area, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
