Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Transportation and Logistics sector based in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. This role is critical to maintaining our commitment to delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users across various IT systems, applications, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and network devices.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates and backups.
- Assist in the management of IT inventory, including procurement and tracking of hardware and software assets.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and enhance existing systems.
- Document technical processes and create user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Provide training and support to staff on the effective use of IT systems and applications.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Participate in IT projects as needed, contributing technical expertise and support during implementation phases.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related role, preferably within the Transportation and Logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, server configurations, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with database management and basic programming/scripting skills is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are desirable.
