### Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in Transportation and Logistics. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our staff, ensuring that all IT systems and applications run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting the technological needs of our operations.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot problems in a timely manner.

- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain IT systems including servers, networks, and applications to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

- User Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications and IT procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations. Develop and update user manuals and technical documentation.

- IT Projects: Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades, software installations, and network enhancements.

- Security: Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing best practices and adhering to company policies regarding data protection and cybersecurity.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions that support business operations.

- Inventory Management: Keep track of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and company policies.

### Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the Transportation and Logistics sector.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident management systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
