Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, including planning, executing, and optimizing maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance Oversight: Lead and manage all maintenance activities for the facility, ensuring optimal performance of machinery, equipment, and systems.

- Team Management: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.

- Preventive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and extend machinery lifespan.

- Equipment Reliability: Monitor equipment performance and reliability, utilizing data analysis and root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance practices comply with local and international safety regulations, environmental standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely procurement of parts and services.

- Emergency Response: Establish protocols for emergency repairs and response to equipment failures, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to coordinate maintenance schedules and support operational goals.

- Continuous Improvement: Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing maintenance processes, reducing costs, and increasing equipment reliability.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a pharmaceutical or related manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and best practices.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop maintenance teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
