Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all maintenance-related activities within our healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment, systems, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing maintenance operations while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for the healthcare facility, including preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruption to healthcare services and ensure compliance with operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related issues and support operational goals.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring that services are delivered to specification and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in facility maintenance and healthcare operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical equipment maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
