Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mining Engineer to join our innovative team in Sharjah, focusing on supporting healthcare initiatives through the development of sustainable mining practices. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering expertise to enhance the quality of raw materials utilized in healthcare applications, ensuring a safe and efficient supply chain within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough geological surveys and assessments of mining sites to determine the feasibility and potential yield of materials relevant to healthcare applications.

- Design and Implementation: Develop, design, and implement mining plans and processes while adhering to safety, environmental, and healthcare regulations. Ensure that all operations align with best practices in sustainability.

- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with healthcare professionals, material scientists, and environmental teams to identify and evaluate the specific material needs for various healthcare applications.

- Safety Management: Implement and monitor safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all mining operations, minimizing risks associated with mining activities.

- Quality Control: Oversee the quality control processes for raw materials extracted, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards and specifications required for healthcare use.

- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data related to mining operations, production metrics, and resource management. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

- Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest mining technologies and techniques that can improve efficiency and sustainability in healthcare-related mining operations.

- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and support staff on mining best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in mining engineering or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of mining operations, materials processing, and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety standards applicable to the mining industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in mining software and relevant engineering tools.
