Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to oversee our telecommunications facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and operations management within the telecommunications sector. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the plant, leading a team of professionals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the telecommunications plant, ensuring production efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and production staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and high performance.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and processes to optimize resource utilization and maximize output.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to support product development and delivery.
- Manage the plant budget, controlling costs and ensuring effective use of resources.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality control, ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Drive employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge within the team.
- Liaise with senior management to align plant operations with strategic goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or operations management within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and operational excellence.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
- Proficient in plant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
