Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team based in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the unique mental health needs of professionals in the energy sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting mental well-being, addressing psychological challenges, and enhancing overall employee performance in a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders among employees in the energy sector.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and referrals to specialized services as needed.
- Provide evidence-based treatment for various psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including HR, occupational health, and safety personnel, to create a holistic approach to employee mental health.
- Facilitate mental health workshops and training sessions to enhance awareness and resilience among employees, promoting a culture of well-being in the workplace.
- Offer crisis intervention services and support in emergency situations, ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with local regulations and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in psychiatry and mental health, particularly within the context of the energy sector.
- Advocate for mental health initiatives and resources within the organization, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

- Medical Degree (MD) or equivalent, with specialized training in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the UAE.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably with a focus on occupational mental health.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues related to high-stress environments, particularly in the energy sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
- Proficient in both English and Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
