Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Security Manager to lead our security operations in the retail sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of security protocols, risk management, loss prevention, and emergency response strategies, tailored specifically for a dynamic retail environment. The Senior Security Manager will be responsible for protecting our assets, personnel, and customers while fostering a culture of safety and security across all retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and Implement Security Policies: Formulate, implement, and oversee security policies and procedures that align with the company’s strategic objectives and comply with local laws and regulations.

- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within retail locations and devise effective strategies to mitigate risks.

- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of security personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to effectively perform their duties.

- Incident Response: Oversee the response to security incidents, investigations, and emergencies. Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting of incidents and collaborate with local law enforcement as needed.

- Loss Prevention Strategies: Develop and execute loss prevention strategies to reduce theft and fraud, including surveillance measures, employee training, and customer engagement initiatives.

- Security Systems Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems, including CCTV, alarms, access control systems, and other technology to enhance security measures.

- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with other departments, such as operations, human resources, and legal, to ensure a comprehensive approach to security and compliance across all retail locations.

- Training and Awareness Programs: Develop and deliver training programs for staff on security awareness, emergency procedures, and theft prevention techniques to cultivate a culture of security.

- Monitoring & Reporting: Generate regular reports on security operations, incidents, and trends to senior management and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-security standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, with a focus on retail security.
- Proven experience in developing security policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies and systems.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to assess and manage risks effectively.
- Experience in crisis management and emergency response.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to security and loss prevention.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP, Physical Security Professional - PSP) are preferred.
