Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations within the education sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities, including inventory management, logistics, staff supervision, and compliance with safety regulations. The Warehouse Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that our educational materials and resources are efficiently stored, tracked, and distributed to support our mission of delivering quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Management: Oversee the accurate tracking and management of all educational materials, supplies, and equipment within the warehouse. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure stock availability.

- Logistics Coordination: Develop and oversee logistics strategies for the receipt, storage, and distribution of educational resources. Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to schools and educational institutions.

- Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff. Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor performance, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure high standards of efficiency and productivity.

- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse. Conduct regular safety audits and training for staff to promote a safe working environment.

- Process Improvement: Analyze current warehouse operations and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts. Prepare regular reports for management on warehouse performance metrics, inventory status, and operational challenges.

- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, and educational program teams to align warehouse operations with organizational goals and objectives. Foster a cooperative team environment to achieve common goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in managing warehouse operations within an educational context.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards applicable to warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
