Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Event Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all types of events within the hotel, with a focus on events related to Information Technology sector.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute events, conferences, and meetings within the hotel
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide customized solutions
- Manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics
- Work closely with the hotel's sales and marketing team to promote events and attract attendees
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure all event requirements are met
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a seamless and successful event
- Monitor and evaluate the success of events, gathering feedback and making recommendations for future improvements
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in event management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field
- [5-7] years of experience in event management, preferably in the hotel industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in event management software and tools
- Knowledge of Information Technology sector and related events is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
