Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Event Manager to join our team in Dubai, specializing in healthcare events. This role is crucial for the successful planning, execution, and management of a variety of events at our luxury hotel, catering specifically to the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, along with a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning and Coordination:
- Oversee the planning and execution of healthcare events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and networking events.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and budget constraints, ensuring all events meet industry standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for each event.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, organizations, and stakeholders to promote the hotel as a premier event destination.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process, addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the event planning team, including assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate with various hotel departments (catering, housekeeping, audiovisual, etc.) to ensure seamless event execution.
4. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies to attract healthcare clients and event attendees.
- Attend industry trade shows and networking events to showcase hotel facilities and services.
5. Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure the best rates and services for events.
6. Post-Event Evaluation:
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and attendees, analyzing successes and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on event performance, including attendance, revenue generated, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within the healthcare sector or a luxury hotel environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing large-scale events.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare industry trends and requirements for events.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
