Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Loan Officer with a focus on Information Technology to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both financial services and technology, enabling them to assess loan applications, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the growth of our lending operations. This role is perfect for a professional with experience in financial services, particularly in technology-related financing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Loan Assessment: Evaluate loan applications for IT projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Analyze financial statements, credit history, and project feasibility to determine eligibility.

- Client Consultation: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking loans for technology-related projects. Provide expert advice on loan products, terms, and conditions, and guide clients through the application process.

- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with loan applications and propose solutions to mitigate those risks. Work closely with credit analysts to ensure accurate risk assessment.

- Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and maintained accurately in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements. Prepare detailed loan files for approval and funding.

- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial institutions, and technology vendors. Network within the IT community to identify potential lending opportunities.

- Sales and Marketing: Actively promote loan products and services through various channels, including social media, networking events, and industry conferences. Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies.

- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the financial and IT sectors. Provide insights to management on market needs and opportunities.

- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on loan performance, client feedback, and market trends for management review. Analyze and present data to identify areas for improvement in the lending process.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in loan origination, credit analysis, or a related financial role within the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly those related to technology financing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient in financial analysis and risk assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the lending industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.
