Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all maintenance activities within our agricultural operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, facilities, and machinery are maintained in optimal condition to support our production and operational goals. This role will require a strong background in maintenance management, particularly within the agricultural sector, and a commitment to promoting safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that aligns with the company’s agricultural operations goals.
- Create and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

2. Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and staff, ensuring high levels of performance and safety.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

3. Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Monitor expenditures and identify areas for cost savings without compromising safety or quality.

4. Equipment Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring all are in compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and liaise with suppliers to ensure availability.

5. Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all maintenance personnel.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, conducting regular audits and inspections.

6. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, coordinating repairs and minimizing downtime.
- Analyze maintenance issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

7. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on maintenance activities, budget adherence, and equipment status.

8. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including production, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless operations and support for agricultural activities.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to improve overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a maintenance environment.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
