Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee agricultural projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a passion for agriculture, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This position involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget while ensuring quality and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, government agencies, and team members, to define project scope and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor their performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and solutions.

- Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
- Report on financial performance against budget and forecast.

- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all projects comply with local agricultural regulations and industry best practices.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of work throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Create contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges that may arise during project execution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the agriculture sector or related fields.
- Proven track record of successfully managing agricultural projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Desirable Skills:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with sustainable agriculture practices and technologies.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles.
- Knowledge of local agricultural markets and supply chains.
