Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychiatry, with a keen interest in the intersection of mental health and pharmaceutical innovations. This role requires clinical expertise, research capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and pharmaceutical companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, considering the latest pharmaceutical advancements.
- Stay abreast of emerging research in psychiatry and pharmaceuticals to inform clinical practices and contribute to the development of new therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical teams to provide clinical insights that support drug development and clinical trials, ensuring a focus on mental health applications.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and the role of medications in managing symptoms.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and potential adjustments in therapy.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for healthcare professionals on mental health topics and the therapeutic use of psychiatric medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with local regulations and organizational standards.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in psychiatric practice, preferably within a pharmaceutical or clinical research setting.
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the role of medications in treating mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in conducting psychiatric assessments and formulating treatment plans.
- Experience in clinical research or participation in clinical trials is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
