We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our Transportation and Logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department in sourcing and procuring goods and services essential for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services as per company requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries
- Assist in vendor selection and evaluation process
- Generate purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery
- Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to cost reduction initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- [X] years of experience in purchasing or procurement role
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
