Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director to lead our telecommunications operations in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape and demonstrate a proven track record in driving business growth, operational excellence, and innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision for telecommunications services in the region, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals and market trends.

- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand existing partnerships to enhance market share and profitability. Lead negotiations and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, corporate clients, and industry partners.

- Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational performance of the telecommunications division, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals across various functions, including engineering, sales, customer service, and marketing. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant telecommunications regulations and standards. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and stay informed about changes in legislation that may impact the business.

- Financial Oversight: Manage the budget and financial performance of the telecommunications division. Provide regular reports on financial metrics, forecasts, and key performance indicators to the executive team.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities within the telecommunications sector. Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making.

- Innovation and Technology: Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry innovations. Lead initiatives to integrate new technologies that enhance service delivery and operational capabilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the telecommunications industry.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale telecommunications projects and operations successfully.

- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive organizational change.

- Proficient in financial management and analysis, with a solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting.
