Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the management and operations of our vehicle fleet, specifically tailored to support our real estate activities in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of fleet management principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to optimize fleet operations while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring vehicles are maintained, serviced, and available for use as needed.
- Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Monitor vehicle usage and performance, employing telematics and other tracking systems to ensure optimal utilization.

2. Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage the fleet budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while adhering to financial targets.
- Analyze fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and other operational expenses to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

3. Maintenance and Repairs:
- Coordinate regular maintenance schedules and repairs for all vehicles in the fleet, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Develop relationships with local service providers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.

4. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all fleet operations comply with Dubai's transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of fleet vehicles to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Implement driver training programs focused on safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

5. Fleet Acquisition and Disposal:
- Evaluate and recommend the acquisition of new vehicles based on business needs and budget considerations.
- Manage the disposal of old or underperforming vehicles in an efficient and environmentally responsible manner.

6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, including utilization rates, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze data to inform strategic decisions related to fleet expansion, reduction, or reallocation.

7. Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of fleet personnel, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to ensure team members are equipped to meet their responsibilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or a related field, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in fleet management software and telematics systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Knowledge of local regulations related to transportation and vehicle management in Dubai.
