We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Event Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and a strong background in Information Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to plan and execute successful events, including conferences, meetings, and social gatherings
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation
- Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure events are cost-effective
- Create event timelines and schedules to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly
- Work closely with hotel staff and vendors to ensure all event details are executed flawlessly
- Maintain relationships with clients to secure repeat business and referrals
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and guests
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- [X] years of experience in event planning, preferably in a hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology and the ability to integrate technology into event planning processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
