We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Hotel Event Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and hospitality, with a background in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of pharmaceutical events held at the hotel, including conferences, seminars, product launches, and corporate meetings
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are in place, including catering, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodations
- Work closely with pharmaceutical clients to understand their event requirements and provide customized solutions
- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within budget
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly
- Provide on-site support during events to address any issues or changes that may arise
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in event planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and event planning software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
