Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Hotel Event Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi's vibrant financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Hotel Event Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and client receptions, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints, ensuring that their vision is met.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from inception to completion, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, decoration, and logistics.
- Develop and manage event timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and hotel staff during the entire event process, maintaining clear and constant communication.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure the best rates and services for events.
- Conduct site visits and walkthroughs with clients, providing expert recommendations on layout, design, and logistics.
- Monitor event setup and breakdown, ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly and efficiently.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, providing quick and effective solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare post-event evaluations and reports, analyzing feedback to improve future event planning and execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in event planning and management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within the hospitality or financial services sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Knowledge of local vendors and suppliers in Abu Dhabi is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and vendors.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required based on event schedules.
