Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee our retail operations in the Agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, a passion for agriculture, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the store, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting the company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Store Operations Management:
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Manage inventory, including procurement, stock management, and loss prevention.
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
2. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates and agricultural specialists.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
3. Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Sales and Financial Management:
- Monitor sales performance and develop action plans to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback for management review.
- Manage the store's budget and ensure cost control measures are in place.
5. Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
- Organize in-store events, workshops, and demonstrations to promote agricultural products.
- Utilize social media and other platforms to enhance store visibility and attract customers.
6. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and operational standards.
- Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the store.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the agriculture sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software.
