Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management System Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for consumer goods, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Continuously enhance and maintain the QMS to adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements.
2. Quality Assurance and Control:
- Establish and monitor quality control processes, including inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality certifications and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company remains compliant.
4. Team Leadership and Training:
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process enhancement.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement initiatives.
6. Customer Focus:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and customer service, to address quality-related issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer complaints related to product quality, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
7. Supplier Quality Management:
- Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, conducting audits and assessments as necessary.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure they meet quality expectations and assist them in implementing quality improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in quality management within the consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing quality management systems.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, HACCP, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
