About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team in the education sector in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to improving educational outcomes through insightful analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets related to student performance, enrollment trends, and operational efficiencies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.

2. Business Intelligence Tools:
- Utilize various BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to create real-time reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing quality control measures.

3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including academic departments and administrative staff, to identify data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders through clear and effective communication.

4. Data Governance and Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Maintain and update databases, ensuring data is current and accessible.

5. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and education analytics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, preferably within the education sector.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management is a plus.
