Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team in Dubai's thriving healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Florist, you will play a vital role in creating beautiful arrangements that enhance the atmosphere of our healthcare facilities, providing comfort and joy to patients, visitors, and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

- Floral Arrangement Creation: Design and create a wide range of floral arrangements for various occasions, including but not limited to patient welcoming bouquets, event decorations, and seasonal displays in our healthcare facilities.

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff by understanding their floral needs and preferences, offering suggestions, and ensuring satisfaction with floral purchases and arrangements.

- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an adequate inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and supplies. Ensure that all materials are properly stored and cared for to maintain freshness and quality.

- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with various departments to coordinate floral needs for events, patient rooms, and common areas, ensuring a welcoming and healing environment.

- Maintenance of Floral Displays: Ensure that all floral arrangements are regularly maintained and refreshed to uphold the aesthetic standards of our healthcare facilities.

- Education and Awareness: Promote the therapeutic benefits of flowers and plants in healthcare settings. Educate staff and visitors on the significance of floral arrangements in enhancing mood and well-being.

- Budget Management: Assist in managing the floral department budget, ensuring cost-effective practices in sourcing flowers and supplies while maintaining quality.

- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols, especially regarding the use of floral materials in sensitive environments such as patient care areas.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in floral design or related field, preferably within a healthcare environment.

- Education: A degree or certification in floral design, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.

- Skills:
- Strong artistic skills with a good sense of color, texture, and design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of various flower types, care techniques, and design styles.

- Personal Qualities:
- Creativity and a passion for floral design.
- Compassionate and sensitive to the needs of patients and their families.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
