Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our team in Ajman, focusing on the Information Technology sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that our organization acquires the necessary IT products and services efficiently and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for IT products and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.
- Procurement Process: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order issuance, and invoice processing. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new technologies. Analyze market data to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the procurement budget. Monitor expenditures and ensure that procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT departments, finance, and legal teams, to understand procurement needs and facilitate effective communication.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze supplier performance, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Address any performance issues with suppliers as necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information. Prepare reports for management on procurement performance and cost savings.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function. Recommend and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of IT products, services, and market trends is highly desirable.
