### Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee our construction facilities in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management within the construction sector, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient working environment for all employees and stakeholders.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Facility Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
- Coordinate with various departments to assess facility needs and oversee maintenance activities.
- Manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations within allocated resources.

- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the life of building systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs.

- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Organize training programs for staff on safety procedures and protocols.

- Space Management:
- Plan and manage space allocation for different departments, ensuring optimal use of facilities.
- Coordinate and oversee any renovations or construction projects within the facilities.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of all facility-related assets.

- Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with service providers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.

- Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to enhance efficiency.
- Track expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance and facility staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

### Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and facility operations.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.

### Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM, FMP) is a plus.
- Experience with project management in construction settings.
- Knowledge of local Abu Dhabi regulations and building codes.
